Well, I can use this dish for Kerrygold butter, but with difficulty. I have to break it into a base that is too narrow. It works a little better if I angle the bottom corners down the length of the butter with a knife. There is enough space at the ends to break the extra. :) The butter dish also easily fits West Coast or East Coast butter. This is the best dish I've found for Kerrygold butter that doesn't break. Also, my seal was centered. I've been using it for a few weeks now and left it on the counter. This is a great dish for the fridge or counter (softened with butter).
