Very happy with this very tall tripod

I am very satisfied with the quality of the Leofoto LM-325CL tripod. It's very tall (I'm 6ft and can stand right under it) which is perfect for setting up on a hill or when you need to stretch one leg a lot further than the other two. Despite the maximum height, the tripod is quite light... I take it with me on trips without any problems. The leg locks are secure yet easy to open and close. The leg angle latches lock securely, yet are easy to open. The feet come with a small set of spikes that can be swapped out with the rubber feet installed. The spikes aren't very long, but they're a nice touch. It also has a half-shape adapter and a flat plate for systematic mounting in the Spider. This attachment system works very well. Easy to install adapters and loosen/tighten clamp with ratchet handle. I connected these legs to a Leofoto LB-75S leveling base (sold separately). Without a center column or half-arm handle, you can mount the tripod very close to the ground (just a few inches between the ground and the underside of the spreader). The included bag is well made and fits the diameter of the tripod perfectly. My only complaint is that the bag is too short when pairing a tripod with its leveling base. The legs and base fit in the bag, but there's no room for the head (it's a few inches shorter). There would be room for you to use the included half shell and your own half shell mount and tripod head, but it's disappointing that they didn't plan ahead for customers to use some of their components (e.g. legs, leveling base, head) . I contacted Leofoto about the bag and they were quick to send me a bag designed for one of their large tripods, so thanks for the great customer service. The length of the spare bag is perfect for the length of the legs, Leofoto LB-75S leveling base and Manfrotto fluid head...it's just larger in diameter than this leg set needs. Maybe they'll change the design of the bag that comes with these legs. Overall I am very satisfied with this very high, light and stable leg set.
