So I know it seems very expensive BUT it is 1000% worth every penny! Just for reference: I have a lot of hair, medium thickness, wavy, colored, and it's almost to my waist. I have been using a hot iron for many years but have never had the desired result. It was always too twisted or fell out very quickly. And invariably, as soon as I went out into humid Florida, my hair would get tangled and fall out. I used a 1.25" barrel and it created perfect beachy waves that are shiny, bouncy and last for days. Best of all, it takes me 20 minutes to prepare! I always start by straightening my hair to get the really frizzy parts smooth so my hair is shiny and soft! Normally my hair holds curls for a few days with a flat iron and curling iron, but I've never had this result with a clip-on curling iron. I can honestly say what a difference the extra $$ makes. I used it on the 5th setting and it's very hot, I see someone not reading the instructions and setting the setting too high for their hair. I've read a lot of reviews on Sephora and Revain saying they burn hair and I think they were set too high. It definitely has a lower heating temperature compared to my old hot iron, which means less damage! The advantage is that these are three irons in one. I love the flexibility it offers without the huge clutter of cords taking up bathroom drawer space. It also comes with a small pouch to keep everything organized which is a really nice bonus. All in all I would buy again!
