Review on 16GB Verbatim Store 'n' Stay Nano USB 3.0 Flash Drive - Blue - Model 98709 by Mike Slippy

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not comfortable at all, dangles far away

Slightly disappointed. It's simple, at least as (long) as a San Disk Extreme flash drive (nano) and maybe longer. Its output from the USB port when fully seated and it's quite generous. They will hook into anything and fall out much easier than advertised. I don't know why but it seems like they changed the production to be [even longer] than in the marketing photos and videos. They've gained about half an inch, so they're completely useless unless you're very careful not to bend them or knock them out of their nest. and they can bend and crush the USB connector. really like a product line. Very discouraged for what they were sold for. Leave the (small) USB stick in place. I think the complaints about the plugs being hard to get out of the socket are bullshit and aren't they, the photos of the plugs falling off are probably the result of hooking and knocking off trying to get them in place allow. This is my third attempt. The advert for "in-socket storage" just doesn't apply to this product line. Nobody makes a real USB drive in a socket.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Not everything is as good as it says
