My second order of these bike lights arrived today from Cosmos. They came in a different packaging (bag) than my first order. I had bad experience with Fire Fly lights in backpacks from China. So I hope they are better since unlike the Chinese ones they have a Presta connector. I know they are all from China but this is a different kind of lights. If you have Presta valves, you need to be very careful when screwing in the Presta adapter. And you need to install the adapter by yourself without light assembly. Be very careful when installing the Presta adapter and if you feel a little resistance, stop twisting! Pull on the adapter to make sure it is seated properly. I ruined 3 Presta connectors by over tightening these adapters. They broke off and the valve was easy to remove. Realize what I've done. I installed the adapters very carefully. After making sure they were securely fastened, I installed the lighting unit. I screwed on the headlight and did the same. As soon as I felt some resistance, I carefully screwed the light on a little further and stopped! The light was on, didn't fall and there were no problems. I went out twice and rode each ride for 1 hour. And the headlights worked great and never went out. You can always cut a thin strip of strong shipping tape. And wrap it around the valve stem and lower lantern assembly if you're worried about your lantern slipping off.
