I bought 4 of these in July 2015. Three of them are installed under the eaves of the house and are still working. I have to replace the 4th right now because a branch fell off the tree and broke it. but stood near the shed for 3.5 years ON THE WOOD IN THE WEATHER - all the time it stood in the rain and snow and worked perfectly. I have changed the batteries in these cameras ONCE in all that time. GOOD batteries last 22-24 months. the ones in there now will need to be replaced in a few months. they are GREAT for the money and are very effective deterrents.
