I have been using this kit for several years without any problems or complaints. If you wish to install this product yourself, you must ensure that you have the appropriate tools and know-how. This is not a job for a novice mechanic. That being said, anyone with a basic understanding of vehicle electrical systems can easily install it. Battery cables are not supplied but are available locally or from Revain. I would recommend buying solid copper wire instead of copper clad aluminum, especially if the battery is installed farther away. I used a 2 gauge welding cable and it worked perfectly. It took me most of the day to install but at a slow pace to check and recheck all the connections.
