Painless 40102 Battery Current Control Review

It would be nice if the necessary battery cables and clips were included. The YouTube video helped me a lot because the instructions were partially unclear.

This kit was a headache. Hooking it up to the starter solenoid was the biggest pain. I ended up having to order custom made battery cables. One of them was 8 feet long from starter to shift cylinder. It was almost impossible to get to the starter without tearing your arm. Everything is working well so far, but as I said, it was agony, not painless.

Does the job for those who say it hurts they are wrong you don't need to change the wiring to the starter until you install the magneto next to it Original one Battery (worst case, use the big butt connector to extend any cable). The best advice I can give is to follow the outline given (the instructions were pretty detailed). Overall, it gets the job done and is easy to install (foolproof). I have been using this kit for several years without any problems or complaints. If you wish to install this product yourself, you must ensure that you have the appropriate tools and know-how. This is not a job for a novice mechanic. That being said, anyone with a basic understanding of vehicle electrical systems can easily install it.
