I am about to buy a second set. It's not that the first set failed or had any issues, I just replaced the old inner tubes that came with the bike last year with these spike resistant inner tubes and would like a replacement set. I have over a thousand miles on the front tube and no problems. so far. Looking at the reviews I see that some people have problems with valve stem failure. The trick is to make sure you all have the correct tire pressure. If you use soft tires, the tube will slip inside the tire, causing the tire rim to press against the valve stem and tearing the rubber at the base of the stem. big, but they last a little longer than a standard inner tube, both on and off the road. They are heavier than standard tubes so add weight to the bike which should also be taken into account.
