I bought this for my three year old son. He really seems to like it. I snapped a few pics to show mums and dads (or anyone else) what you're getting. The pillow comes with a built-in snug pillowcase. You can take it off and wash it. As you can see, I put ours in a silk pillowcase. My son has a habit of saying all the pillows are hot. Technically hot isn't a pillow, it's our PAW Patrol pillowcase. I don't think it's cotton. More like a polyester blend so it keeps him warm. Plus, the silk pillowcase keeps you cool. No, I'm not trying to be a pretentious mom, I just want his head kept cool. For reference, this silk sleeve cost $5.99 from TJ Maxx. The corners of this memory foam pillow are nicely raised when your little one sleeps in the corner. It seems to be a great support for the neckline as it falls slightly down the middle. The pillow is in the shape of an hourglass. The silk pillowcase is a standard size, so it's a little big for the memory foam. The pillow itself is soft, comfortable and I regret not having bought it sooner. It really helped me getting my son from my bed back to his crib. We slept together and I know I should have started earlier but that's how it is now. The pillow was a transitional phase of growing up for a big boy to encourage him to sleep alone. I took a picture of the memory foam pillow and placed it on top of the standard pillow to show the sizing. I hope this helps reviewers make better decisions.
