Installed after 3/22/1999 in the front differential of a 1999 Ford F250 Super Duty. What a job, with multiple tools and on the go. Make sure you have good jacks and they are placed correctly. And before you get under the car, try to shake it off the jack. It would have been better if he had come earlier than on time. Also these seals don't have a seat. You can drive them right where they need to be and into the axle or differential depending on how you drive them. I used a 2 inch rigid sleeve made from a piece of electrical wire. It fits on the outside of the gasket but not in the area where the gasket should be. OD 2&5/8". This is with a piece of 3/8" thread and I was able to attach the gasket from the outside pivot.
