This item is well made of aluminum and fits snugly in your car's cigarette lighter socket. A blue light will appear through the USB-A port to indicate that the charger is receiving power. It charges my MacBook Pro (and 13 and 16) at 30W via the USB-C PD port, but as another reviewer noted, the power output is reduced when something is plugged into the USB-A charging port at the same time. In my case, I saw a power drop from 30W to 15W, despite the advertised claim of 60W total power output (30W per port). Since the USB-C PD port consumes 30W, the device feels quite warm, which I suspect. often found on small chargers and high power devices.
