Smells like the cheapest candy

This product smells exactly like the pastel orange candy called 'Circus Peanuts'. If I remember correctly they were chewy, marshmallow and cloyingly sweet - just how they smelled. In case you're unfamiliar, someone mentioned an artificial banana, and I think it's close. When I was a kid the bag was 99 cents and when you're a kid and don't have a lot of money even cheap crappy candy is better than no candy at all. Which brings me back to these products. I bought this shampoo and conditioner after a month of take away orders, I really wanted a little beach in my life. Unfortunately, unlike the circus peanuts, these products were not delivered. After all, sugar is sugar (at least when you're seven), but unless you're used to eating cheap candy on the beach, there's no connection between the taste of that food and the smells I associate it with. Excursion to the sea. I understand that it contains ingredients of marine origin and that's probably why they got the name, but it's still misleading. When it comes to the washing and care properties of the products, they are also not convincing. Especially if you have frizzy hair (like mine). Oh, and it's worth noting that the stitching on the shampoo container ripped on my second use. All in all, if you are looking for a scent that will remind you of your pleasant days at the beach, this isn't it. However, if you want to go back to the days when you could stuff your face with the cheapest candy and still consider yourself lucky, this product might be for you.

Pros
  • NO TARGET CHEMICALS including parabens, phthalates and other ingredients your skin doesn't like
Cons
  • Not as thick as other candies
