This is cute, comfy, and warm! I wore it to dinner over the weekend, and my daughter (teen- who is def a lot smaller than me!) was already trying to steal it from me, and has added this (and 2 other colors) to her Christmas wish list. I’m 5’3, 225 lbs, busty, smaller waist, bigger hips/bottom- and I typically wear XL, but ordered the XXL based on other reviews, and it fit, (which is fine for me) more long and loose. So I think you should honestly order your actual size if you want that "fitted” look, and size up one size for a looser look. One thing I loved is that the back scoops lower than the front, making this legging friendly to cover your bum. The other thing is that it’s the same material inside and out, very soft and stretchy. I did notice the fuzz was clinging to everything I tried it on with (never wear the light colored over a black tee or tank and vice versa) and washed it on a cold cycle 2 times by itself. Then hung it to dry, and "fluffed” it for 2 mins in the dryer right before I wore it. I don’t think I would ever put this in the dryer with any heat for more than a minute or 2. I’m a yarn crafter, and sometimes to seal an end of wool yarn so that it doesn’t unravel, I put a lighter very near the ends to "melt” the threads together- I think that effect is what would happen to this on high heat in a dryer- so don’t do it! :)
