So I bought this grinder a few days ago mainly because it had a 9 inch blade and it seemed to meet my needs. Worked pretty well as expected, but there are just a few downsides. First of all, nothing can be washed in the dishwasher, so you have to keep that in mind. Secondly, although it is of good quality, it has a lot of plastic parts on the food tray and the pusher is all plastic, the food tray has a stainless steel part on top which makes it nice. However, there is no really easy way to clean this machine since nothing is taken apart, the only thing that falls off is the knife holder and the meat slider slider doesn't detach from the machine It's a bit of a hassle to clear but worth it For those of you wondering about the thickness of the slice, the scale goes from 0 to about 15, which you can rely on 8. inch disc around the one mark. And it comes down to a little over 3/4 inch thick. All in all, if you're looking for a slicer that you can use occasionally, this is probably your best value. I would buy it again, probably not, but it works for what I need.
