We use these to secure items (hangers for drying) to the side of our RV. We use a suction window. It crashes after a few days. Therefore DO NOT use it to attach anything to the roof of a car as listed. This is extremely dangerous. This is not the industrial style they use for lifting glass. They are handmade and only intended for items that cannot break when dropped.
