Review on Gazigo Waterproof Backpack for Elementary School Girls by Cindy Payne

I was a little skeptical about this bag as it's for a kid who can be rough on their backpack. It's only been 3 weeks and so far it's holding up really well. It appears to be waterproof and has no watermarks. In it she carries: a satchel, a large notebook, a laptop in a tote bag, laptop headphones, a snack, a sweatshirt most days, and a few other items. The side pockets are large and sturdy enough for your water bottle. The front pocket closes with a zipper and a magnet closure. The zippers are all cute little heart shaped gold zippers. We received the purple and it looks like the picture but very light purple with pink on the back and inside the pocket. The flap of the front pocket says "cool kid" in italics. I wasn't sure how I felt about it, but my daughter doesn't seem to mind. The gold bow is beautifully made and feels very secure. This bag is not cheap in my opinion. The bag isn't as tall as most backpacks, but it's wide in both directions, giving you plenty of room to carry a fairly large amount of items. I have a bigger bag. It's not too heavy and not too bulky. The handle on top isn't an issue and feels solid, although she doesn't usually wear it by the handle. The straps are adjustable and stay in place. This is a practical bag that you can carry on your back. I put it on my back to test and found it not too big like some bags and found it very comfortable on my shoulders and back. (I'm 5ft so some of the bags seem stunning, it wasn't) I will add an update at the end of the school year to share my thoughts on how it will hold up over the long term. I would recommend this bag to anyone who asks for it. **End of school news** The bag, while cute and quite sturdy, didn't last the whole school year. About 6 months before the end of the year, ie around December (a few months after the start of the school year), a belt tensioner broke, making it impossible to adjust a belt. She had to adjust the other strap to the same length to keep her balance. However, this causes the bag to become too heavy. Also, the zipper started to stick and came off the track so we couldn't use that zipper. Needless to say, it couldn't withstand the rigors of Class 3. While my previous rating stands for size and overall appearance, I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 due to the nature of the issues I reported.
