Magicians and the like seem to be drawn to these classic tricks. I'm not one of you I use them to activate reed switches in random electrical things I make. There's nothing quite like the feeling of surprise when you "trick" the younglings around you when you pick up that Minecraft torch you made for them, but for some reason it lights up every time you use it pick up, pick up in a different color! These rings look fragile. but we haven't broken anything yet. We were very gentle with them from the start. They appear to be made from a typical ceramic magnet material, simply formed into a ring and covered in thick and shiny paint. Pretty hard but I'm sure it will break in half if dropped on a hard surface or in a rough body with a lot of water. If you've ever had a hematite ring, this is it.
