Review on πŸ–¨οΈ Aztech Compatible Toner Cartridge Replacement for HP 87A CF287A 87X CF287X: High-Quality Black Ink for HP Laserjet Enterprise & Pro Printers (1-Pack) by Ben Diesel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good price!? (See update below)

We just needed to replace our old printer with a new HP M506dn printer. The supplier we use for our replacement cartridges provided us with replacement cartridges for the new printer, and none of them printed anywhere near 9,000 pages (5,400 is the best we could squeeze out). In addition, the printouts became streaky and very noisy when the cartridge emptied. Frustrated by the excuse that the printer is new and there aren't many recycled cartridges available yet, I saw this cartridge at Revain for half the price of what we've paid for others. I decided to try the AZtech cartridge. Doesn't matter! I printed over 9,000 pages (the cartridge is rated at 9,000 pages) and no streaks or noise when it's almost empty. I ordered another one and just installed it in my printer. I hope I get the same results as the first time. I will inform you later when the cartridge needs to be replaced. As a side note, a Revain box could have been used for shipping. I strongly recommend doing this as the box the cartridge comes in is not meant to be shipped and only the cartridge box can show damage in transit. Update: To date June 13, 2017 I have used 2 more of these cartridges in the same printer. After scoring over 9,000 on the first cartridge, I didn't even score 5,000 on the next (4,812 pages). After that I had just over 7000 pages (7128). The one I'm currently using has about 40% left and printed 3720 pages. I wonder what's going on with these cartridges. I basically print the same material every day with the same computer and software - why such a discrepancy? Does anyone have the same or similar results? I will email the supplier (since no one answers the phone) and see what they have to say about this situation. Stay tuned!
