I needed a CPU cooler for an AMD EPYC CPU. The Threadripper TR4/sTRX4 socket is a variant of the EPYC SP3 socket, so the CPU cooler for Threadripper should be suitable for EPYC. Except that Thermaltake does NOT include a bracket for TR4/sTRX4/SP3! Now I see an asterisk in the description, which I didn't see when ordering. My AMD EPYC chips came in a tray, so no brackets. I see that Asetek (Fractal Design) seems to be the only company that sells a brace that fits. https://www.amazon. com/Standard-sTRX40-Retention-Asetek-Coolers/dp/B08NTYLLSY/ref=sr_1_3 (Not sure if it will work with this cooler.) I will be going back and ordering a cooler from Fractal Design. (I should have done that in the first place. Got a Fractal Design case and a different build cooler.) The low score is a little unfair. It could be a good cooler. But listing socket support without specifying the missing parenthesis isn't very good. Of course, time is of the essence and I would order a mount with a cooler if I knew it wasn't the case. So more complicated than I would like.
