I have used many headphones for live performance and home listening and this is by far the best I have ever used. Yes they are a bit bass heavy but they are very clean bass. They have more clarity and bass response than any other headphone I've tried. Aside from using it for live performance, I started using it for monitoring low frequencies when mixing. Low frequencies in them are clearer than in my ATH-M50X and Beyedynamic DT880. If you're a bassist who uses an IEM system to play, they won't disappoint! They are also more comfortable than the Shure SE215 which I have used for many years. I can use the G10 for over 4 hours without irritation, but the SE215 bothers me after an hour of use. I wear them with the cord behind my ear. There's no need to "modify" them with a flexible wire, as one reviewer puts it, to wear them behind the ear. I use large foam ear tips and when I speak or open my mouth wide the seal doesn't break, which has also been an issue for me with other headphones.
