Tired of felt pads falling off all the time. And I don't like the squeaky sound bare wooden chair legs make on our smooth tile floors. These silicone/felt chair leg pads seemed like the perfect solution! But that's not the case. Within three weeks of use, the silicone bushings became detached from the legs of the chairs and broke. We bought the "transparent" set which is actually a translucent matte white rather than transparent. They are really very unsightly against the background of our brown chair legs. They are easy to install: just slide them into a chair leg. However, the natural elasticity of silicone is the final downside of the product. The sleeve slides down the chair leg as friction on the floor pulls on the felt pad and sleeve when the chair is pushed forward, backward or sideways. Our porcelain tiles are completely smooth so I believe this problem will be even worse with any type of textured floor. Conclusion: They are not worth this high price. Someone else has to build the best mousetrap in this category.
