Review on Mikasa 3.25-Quart Glass Beverage Pitcher for Cheerful Refreshments by George Bell

I bought this pitcher for iced tea. Sangria would be nice too. I have had and have been using it constantly for several months. I'm afraid it will break as it's very light. I hand wash it with every batch of iced tea. Very beautiful and cool. So far very happy with the purchase. I feel it's worth the money. I've been looking for weeks for a pretty jug that wouldn't cost too much. i found this TO UPDATE. Now I give 1 star. I've been using this jug daily for 15 months. I have handled it very carefully because it is such a beautiful glass. Spring. I just noticed that I now have cracks around the handle. Trust customer reviews. My 4 stars became 1 star. I won't buy this again. I'll buy another heavier glass just not as pretty at a lower price. DO NOT buy it unless you intend to keep it for a long time. I have never put hot liquids in it. Was used for ice tea but I waited for the boiling water to warm up slightly and poured into room temperature water before adding some cooler filtered water. No need for cracks. It could be very dangerous if I don't see it.
