This IMOU camera has very good coverage with smartphone pan and tilt controls. I don't hear any noise when panning/tilting. One of the surprises is that this camera has a protective case that can be controlled by smartphone. Another advantage is the extremely low video latency (almost less than 1/4 second). The audio delay is typically around 1s. I always want to have a camera with pan and tilt controls that can cover the entire room without having to use multiple cameras. I used to buy a Samsung SMARTCAM A1 (can only pan 350° but not tilt) but the software is very difficult to use and cost me over $200. I also checked other well known brands like Ring and Arlo but they just don't have pan/tilt cameras. Mi has a camera with pan and tilt controls, but I have some problems with night vision of other Mi cameras. When night vision is on, a distinct click will be heard. When there is little light in the room, rather than total darkness, the camera's night vision turns on and off frequently, causing a lot of clicks. So far I haven't noticed any "click" noise issues with this IMOU camera. I had a connection error during the initial setup, but I tried again and everything works fine. I think the initial connection problem is caused by permissions issues in the iPhone. The IMOU camera can connect to the device's Wi-Fi automatically, preventing you from going into the settings and switching the Wi-Fi manually. This feature requires permission in iOS to allow the device to access the local network, after I accepted this permission, the connection became very smooth.
