Excellent option for routing Cat cables
We've just moved. I bought this to replace old Cat6 phone jacks in two different rooms. This involved cutting the drywall a bit to enlarge the hole, which is easy enough with a utility knife. The black clip goes through the hole and the tabs flip out to lock it in place. Then just connect the cat cable (with ends) to the plate and screw it on. I bought home cables and ran them from the modem to the office. Went like clockwork.
