Review on 🔧 Comprehensive 60-Piece Master Tap and Die Set by Carlos Barete

This set offers very good value for money. This is my first set of taps and dies so I can't comment on the quality of the cutting tools compared to a $100+ set. The set is impressively comprehensive for something in this price range. The best I've found from Revain. The cutting tools I ended up using worked well, although I'm cutting aluminum so maybe it's not the most challenging. The taps and buttons themselves are not that well made. The wrench struggled to hold the faucet no matter how tight I tightened it. This was more of a problem when the tap was extended and pressure was applied underneath to prevent the tap from over-cutting. While driving it wasn't a big problem and in the end I was still able to get the job done. My thread gauges were a little disappointing, mostly because the rivets on the gauges are quite tight and difficult to unscrew. I appreciate that the kit really has everything you need and that it has both metric and SAE. Finally, it's hard to beat this offering in terms of price.
