This product is great for smoothing and smoothing out dry shampoo days. I can also achieve this "blow out" on the 3rd day without washing with this brush. It smoothes and adds volume which is a huge plus for my fine, straight, bleached, brittle hair. It's also helpful for getting rid of tangled ponytails without being as harsh as a full-blown flat iron. The price is unbeatable. Note: Pressing the button twice will "lock” the device. This feature is useful because the buttons are right where you normally hold the device. Random shutdowns during use would be something I could see if you didn't 'lock' it 'enabled'.
