Dogs respect cat doors, railings and steps

I bought this item so my dogs wouldn't chase me up the stairs to the carpet in the house. It works like magic! They respect the gate and don't try to jump over it. It's adjustable and I like how it can be pressed against the wall to make it more stable. When I'm not using it, I can put it in a closet and it doesn't take up too much space. It's white plastic, which isn't as attractive as wooden fences, but is lightweight and easy to work with.
