This is a very good quality stainless steel brush. It's hard to tell from the photo. I thought the bristles could be very thin and sparse for this price. You are not. Or what the bristle might lose in use. They didn't do that either. I bought this for my first try at low temperature (730°F.+) aluminum welding. A stainless steel brush is needed to clean the aluminum in the area where the 2 pieces are to be welded. Other brushes (steel or brass) will contaminate the aluminum and prevent a proper weld. This brush worked as expected and my project turned out exactly as I expected. If you need a stainless steel brush for aluminum welding or other applications, I highly recommend this brush. For most applications, except very intensive or industrial use, this brush does what it is supposed to do very well and economically. Thank you for reading.
