. It was a Verizon phone that had been unlocked by the carrier. It came with preinstalled Verizon apps that cannot be removed. The phone itself appeared to be in good condition and worked perfectly, but I plan to return it as it is not factory unlocked. It was well packaged in the standard packaging with the normal charger and cable as to be expected with the refurbished item. For those who are okay with the phone being unlocked by the carrier rather than being unlocked from the factory I think this would be a good buy given the price difference.
