Review on Acoustic Audio PSW300 8 Theater Subwoofer by Dawn Ridley

Out of the box I hooked this up to a set of Peachtree M25 speakers with a U-Turn turntable. I figured the easiest way would be to use the LFE RCA/out from the speakers to the subwoofer. It turned on, but the audio let me down. Mid range (y) - gave me the feeling that the sub wasn't powerful enough and just wasn't performing in the frequency range I was hoping for. Before packing it up and sending it back I decided to try the high level speaker and subwoofer connections. VAST improvement. I don't know if I should have read the instructions and he would have told me but yes. Now sounds good. Really rounds out the Peachtrees sound.
