Review on Chaco Chillos Boys' Shoes - Toddler & Little Active Footwear by Joseph Swanson

I usually like Chaco products; They are well made and have good support. I really wanted to like that too. Based on my shoe size and confirming the size chart, I first bought them in my 6th teens. I received them and the shoes themselves fit, but the straps were too tight. Keep in mind that my feet are by no means wide or tall. Then I changed them to Male 7 because I thought they should work. But again, the shoes themselves were fine, but the straps were too tight! I thought it might work but as soon as I started running my feet kept slipping because the straps were the wrong size. So once again I traded them in for a male 8 because I figured they SHOULD work. But, you guessed it, the straps were too tight and my feet slipped when walking. I don't understand the point of adjustable straps if the max size is too tight? In this case, the third time is not a spell. I really wanted this to work, but now I'm disappointed without sandals :(If you have super super skinny and small feet, they might fit you. If your feet are medium or large, good luck with this fit. Also, they seem sturdy and well made.The arch seemed to be a good height and I think they look good!
