I've bought powders that start at $20 for a small jar and others that are a bunch of small jars (with a very small product each) for - 10 dollars. This is a super affordable set of 20 jars and they are packed with so much product in each! And banks are much easier to deal with than many banks, including very expensive ones. And here are the powders. work phenomenal! Look at that RED, isn't it stunning? And that's about ten times more noticeable in person. I've read bad reviews about this and other chrome powders. Maybe operator error? Here's the thing, all my powders work, expensive and cheap, they all work because I follow a specific process and I'm going to share it with you in a moment: 1) Apply a non-wipe top coat, cure. 2) OPTIONAL: apply gel paint, cure. (There is no color under the red powder in the photo). 3) If you have REALLY applied and cured gel paint, then apply a non-wipe top coat and cure. 4) Wipe a nail with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol and let it dry for a few seconds. , then IMMEDIATELY apply powder and buff (you can use eyeshadow applicator, fingertip or direct finger). 5) Apply top coat without wiping, cure. Do this for each nail, one at a time. Don't try to save time by rubbing alcohol on all five nails and then applying powder because by the time you get to your middle finger the powder may not stick as all the alcohol has completely evaporated. If you want a more intense color (like the red in the picture), repeat steps 4 and 5. That's it. I'm not a chemist, I don't know why ALL powders work by wiping the nail with alcohol before powder buffing (no more top coat). It just is. EVERY TIME.
