Replaced an old Pitot tube speedometer with a small one Automobile. The old one was very inaccurate below 24 km/h and constantly clogged. It is accurate, easy to see and very sensitive - there is no delay between the boat speed changing and the reading changing. Cut out the hole accurately - very small lip to hide imperfections.2. The odometer needs to be reset, which the instructions don't say - the seller helped with that - and it works fine.3. There is an external speed sensor which is a GPS antenna. I just tied it to the wiring harness and no problem.4. The speedometer shows 35 miles per hour - I can go a little faster, but rarely. I wanted a 35 mile model so I had the best speed resolution. If you are interested in top speed, get the 80 mile dial version or the digital display version.
