Actually lasts over a month
I use two of these carbon block filters back to back to remove most of the sulfur from our well water. This is a Southwest Florida well with a high sulfur and iron content. After installing these filters/cartridges, the water in the house will not taste like sulfur and only have a slight smell. I tried the activated carbon filters first, they lasted a week, after which the strong smell and taste of sulfur returned. The carbon block is the only filter used.
