Review on Ultra Wide Angle Zoom Lens for SLR Cameras - Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM by Bambang Tjahaya ᠌

I use it on 5Dm2. I shoot landscapes with them, sometimes just people. The lens is very well made, good lens hood. Filmed in the rain, remained alive and unharmed. The sharpness of the picture is very good. Many tests say that the lens is "so-so", but I took a chance and bought it to use it, as a result, it fully justified the money spent. I advise everyone. Pros below: Good, sharp, excellent range of focal lengths, solid construction, standard equipment for the L series, 77 mm thread, no moving trunk, respectively, polarizing filters are relevant. Got cons: Aperture, so many say, but for my purposes it is more than enough.
