Of course it was very easy to install and the wi-fi signal was strong and I really wanted to like this card but no matter how hard I tried it was just a piece of junk. I've read all the support forums I found that promised a "solution" to AC-7260 disconnect problems and it worked for about a day, but I kept having to reinstall drivers changing band frequency , disable 5g and more. I even did what some forums claimed was the definitive solution, which was to use Microsoft's Intel drivers instead of the Intel drivers. Of course it will work, but then again for a day or two at most. I then had to uninstall and reinstall the drivers and fiddle with the connection settings until I finally got fed up. Intel has practically given up developing updated software for this model of card, so I recommend just staying away from it. It's very frustrating to deal with. Or maybe the problem is that he doesn't like Dell laptops. I do not know.
