Excellent in every way! High quality material used in all parts of this sandal! The upper made of high-quality leather is flexible yet durable. Durable rubber base that is strong and supportive, yet flexes with foot movement. The metal buckles are on display and the quality velcro is the actual connection - each of the three straps is adjustable and I'm NOT WORRY about the velcro malfunctioning, it's not the fluffy crap used on some boots, it is nice velcro that hair and fluff don't stick. The bottom of the sandal is grippy which gives my daughter a more student attitude than other shoes. I love them so much, I'm so glad I bought them, I'm sure you will too!
