This printer works fantastic. The A8 Plus comes with most of the upgrades you need for the A8. The only thing that disappointed me was the instruction manual. This was not a good source of information for building a printer. However, Anet has a great assembly video that is easy to follow and hits the mark. The first real part I printed was for a locking ring on a broken drill press. The images show the original fragment and the one I designed and printed. It's installed on a drill press and works great. I had an issue with the build not sticking to the build plate. This has been corrected by cleaning the build plate and increasing the nozzle temp to 215 degrees. I'm working on some other builds and am very happy with the functionality. Since then I've had a few issues with cheap bearings tearing the cranks. I replaced all bearings with Igus Drylin polymer bearings and replaced the cranks with new ones. However, I have found that the bearing retainers grab a little once you tighten the bearing retainers. No matter what I tried I couldn't align them properly until I had drilled all the holes in the extruder holder so I had a slightly larger hole to install the bearing holders. This works much better with drylin bearings. once you get rid of the binding issues. The printer itself works great. There are a few cheap hardware parts, and like others I printed a few aftermarket parts like a new fan shroud and flat glass panel clips. I would and will recommend this printer.
