Works great with 3D printer

This printer works fantastic. The A8 Plus comes with most of the upgrades you need for the A8. The only thing that disappointed me was the instruction manual. This was not a good source of information for building a printer. However, Anet has a great assembly video that is easy to follow and hits the mark. The first real part I printed was for a locking ring on a broken drill press. The images show the original fragment and the one I designed and printed. It's installed on a drill press and…

  • DIY version, all unassembled parts need to install by yourself. The do-it-yourself version allows you to fully explore the building and construction of a 3D printer.

Poor quality plastic parts. 3D printed parts out of order, no problem

I bought this because of the low price and now I regret it. The build isn't bad but a few parts broke along the way and I was too stubborn to just return it when I got the chance. The 3D printed blocks holding the Y-axis linear rods were deformed during production due to apparent issues with sticking to the base. One of them split in half when I mounted it on the pole and you can see where the layers didn't stick to the print. I found the files on things and printed out new ones so be aware…

Diy Ki, not for beginners

I bought this on the recommendation of a friend, he had a previous model and after a few updates it worked fine. The kit was complete including all parts (I think). Still don't know what the fingertips are for? If for lubrication, this was not included. The hardware quality is crap, the heads came off easily on some screws, the nuts are pretty rough, but it all came together. The assembly instructions, printed and .pdf were fine but there were no steps on setting up the wiring. Online videos…
