This pocket blocked the signal from my fob even if it was by the car door, as long as the fob was in the second, deeper pocket it blocked the signal. I've also used it to keep my key fob in the car while I surf the beach. The only problem is that it's not big enough to fit the keychain and all my keys. So I have to take the key fob out of my keychain before I put it in a bag that I hide in the car. If you only have a couple of keys this might work, but I'll look for a bigger one. I find it useful at home. I hang my bag on the key hook and slide the bunch of keys inside. Once again I need to be sure it's in the right bag.
