The bed frame was well packed. No damage during transport. Unpacking and sorting the parts took about 45 minutes. The instructions were great, easy to follow. Assembly took about 3 hours with the tool provided. All parts fit perfectly, fit easily, no defects. Mattress and linen are not included. Laura Ashley Blanket and Curtains available separately from Revain. This frame uses a 10 inch foam mattress. The slats in this frame are about 6 inches apart, so I used a piece of the box it came in under the mattress to keep it from sagging between them.
