This is a great way to feel confident grinding your trailer wheels. Much safer than wooden, plastic or rubber chalk. I love that they come with a ratchet wrench AND socket that fit directly into the 3/8 drive socket for even faster installation and removal. Edit my original rating: 7/28/21 - I downgraded my rating from 5 to 2 stars because I no longer feel safe. A work truck spun in my yard and its bumper hit the tongue of my trailer on the side, causing the trailer to move about a foot. Luckily when this happened, the tongue jack was on a couple of pieces of wood that kept the tongue jack from bending and just slid sideways like skis on snow. But what really bothered me was that the wheel chock was bent and fell out. The "gears" that create the "scissor" function of these pads are stamped and simply flex/roll to get the trailer wheels rolling. Added wheel chocks that "lock" the wheels front and rear, but DO NOT use them and think they will protect you when parking on a hill.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs
