peel and stick; removable version; Protects children's eyes perfectly!

Hello! I just tinted the rear side windows at 20%. I used to have Eddie Bauer Auto Static Child Window Film on the sides to keep the sun out of my sensitive daughters eyes but of course the film did not cover but a small area on the window and the window it could not be rolled down. . Of course, the sun always shone on the sides. That 20% darkness is spot on - it looks almost black from the outside, but it's about the same as baby foil and has a blue tint, not brown as several people have mentioned. It's easy to see. I decided to apply this in light rain. No dust, no, in my case in New England in the spring, certainly no pollen! I've used soapy water liberally at every blessed step of the journey. My biggest problem was getting the windows to cut cleanly because the film is so thick I couldn't bend it into a corner to run a blade across it. I would never attempt this with a used razor blade. Tip: Use a new razor blade! I applied it to the hard edge of the squeegee I ran along the sides of the window and this helped me make a nice edge. Cut the sides first, then the top, and finally the bottom. "To the right until I reached the right edge I left about 2-3 inches to the left just to be sure and then once all the sides were trimmed I tried to remove the backing to put it on the inside of the window to glue . I watched the video twice and took the careful notes to which I referred. I had duct tape and tried it out. and tried. And after calling customer service, they explained that there is no film that can be peeled off for this type of film. It doesn't "peel" or stick - it just curls against the paper with one side. When using Gila film for interior window work where it is also glued rather than glued, there is always a REMOVABLE film. I've done probably 30 interior windows so I wanted to mention it for those who might be in the same boat as me. Also, the video doesn't mention not having to remove a backing. So are the stock notes here on Amazon under the article, at least as far as I've read. However, after my trials I used a Goo-Gone to get rid of the tape, cleaned it well and applied the tape. The film doesn't appear to have a "good" or "bad" side - that is, there is no inside or outside to this version of the film. So far so good. I left it running - experience has told me it will play in a place where any residual moisture will evaporate naturally - before attempting to roll down the windows. This is my last test. Will update as experience effects change. Please see the product photo I posted. This is a slight distortion on the glass children can see, with a good solid For example, through this film we can read the words perfectly (not so with the previous film, they could not see anything clearly at all.) I have read many reviews that this however, is not certain. When used on windows, the driver sees the distortion through this thick film. However, for children peeping out of the rear side windows, this is perfectly acceptable.
