The product description is misleading.
Declared dishwasher safe. Does the manual say the top shelf is dishwasher safe? - unfortunately there is not enough free space! The bowl should be made of BOROSILICATE GLASS, it is too heavy for borosilicate glass. Have several other borosilicate bowls/dishes and none come close to being as heavy. It is stated that borosilicate glass can withstand extreme temperatures to avoid sudden changes in temperature. States can be used in the oven, but do not use a roasting pan. The label says "Made in China" which means "People's Republic of China".
