When fall arrives in Colorado, I look forward to temperatures dropping low enough (45F or below) to wear this thermal underwear set while biking or skiing in the field testing. These garments are clearly a base layer that can be worn with a jacket and a windbreaker. I wouldn't wear them where I expected to be seen; they are underwear. I ordered a large as I'm just over 6'1" and only 190 pounds. Along with the pack, the compression feels like memory foam. I tried them on and found them VERY form fitting, like a Spiderman suit. I thought I'd done enough to rid my guts, but that's an unflattering upgrade. Even as soon as I twisted my arms and legs and pulled Picard on the hem of his shirt, everything fell into place and fit perfectly and comfortably. Despite the snug shape, it doesn't pinch or pinch unduly. The length of the arms and legs is perfect despite my long arms.
