Works as it should. I didn't have high hopes but still expected it to fit and work to restore my useless Wii U gamepad to a usable state. The original screen has a small dent and these screens are pressure sensitive so they always register a touch on the top corner. In fact, I didn't like the original pressure-sensitive touchscreen at first, so I figured it couldn't get any worse. It turns out I was right. This replacement screen is not as transparent as the original and has some "haze" when held up to the light. However, during installation it is not very noticeable. You can still see the screen clearly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with experience repairing things like this (iPhone screens, tablet screens, etc.). Took me about 45 minutes from start to finish. I followed an online tutorial. Something I wish the screen came with labeled marks on the screen stickers. It took me a minute to figure out that one was meant to stick the screen onto the metal frame of the LCD and the other was just a protective case. It didn't come with any instructions or product information.
