when to start I've been using an NEC 1700M+ LCD monitor since 2001 and paid $1,000 for it. This HP L2208W LCD Monitor replaced it for $182.00 including shipping/hour. Even though I didn't buy this HP L2208W monitor from Revain, I'll talk about it a little bit here. This is an excellent monitor. It is BRIGHT and CLEAR. I chose this particular model over the HP w2207h because the screen is anti-glare and I really don't need my monitor to tilt sideways like the w2207h does. This HP L2208W has no USB ports and no built-in speaker. I ordered a speaker bar for it from Revain and it fits great and the sound is good for what it is. The monitor has a nice tilt function, but no swivel function that I can live with. My only criticism is that the monitor doesn't have built-in USB ports, but I can live with that. The stand is VERY solid and overall I am very impressed with this HP L2208W LCD Monitor. If anyone is bothered by screen reflections, there aren't any, making online play enjoyable as well as offline play. If you are looking for a 22 inch LCD monitor, give this monitor a serious look. I'm surprised who didn't like it.
