Looks really cool on the ceiling. It's best to put it on the floor. The farther from the ceiling, the better it looks. There are basically 2 light sources: rotating miasmic colors and green laser "stars" that don't move. The video I uploaded shows him transitioning between colors. I also toggled between always on for 'stars' and fading in and out. My favorite setting is all colors with fading and fading "stars". It's very relaxing. My wife likes to use a Bluetooth speaker and put it in "music" mode where the light changes and flashes along with the music. It's too flashy for me, but if you're throwing a dance party and want a disco in your room, this seems to go with it pretty well. Many options and settings for colors and movement. Controls for speaker volume (and mute) and light intensity, color selection and combination, motion or silence. Bluetooth is easy to pair. Remote control and cable included.
