My Kohler toilet is starting to leak so I searched for Lowes and HD but couldn't find a replacement as Kohler has their own unique design. Found it on amazon and tried it on and it fits perfectly. If your Kohler has a plastic hinge, you don't need to purchase the Kohler GP84995 KOHLER GENUINE PART GP84995 (HINGE) FLAP which are $8 each. You can just take out the plastic loop and install directly. I know because one of my toilets has a plastic hinge and I thought it wouldn't work, but I just take the old hinge off and install it and it works.
